Acetonitrile can be used as a solvent for the synthesis of vitamin A, cortisone, carboamine drugs and their intermediates, as well as for the production of active medium solvents for vitamin B1 and amino acids.
Can replace chlorinated solvents. Used for ethylene based coatings, as well as extractants for fatty acids, alcohol modifiers, butadiene extractants, and solvents for acrylonitrile synthetic fibers,
There are also many uses in fabric dyeing, lighting, fragrance manufacturing, and photosensitive material manufacturing.
